A stitch in time.
A simple and elegant offering, the banner opens on a gently folded piece of material, the camera pans in close as a needle and thread begin to stitch a quote from Alfred Dunhill himself.
In cinematic fashion, the camera moves in closer and closer, revealing the true detail of the thread, material, and craftsmanship that goes into the Dunhill products. Finally we pull out as the final stitch is made and see the full quote, strap line, followed by an understated call to action.
Discover quality
Similarly, this concept allows the user the take hold of a magnifying glass that moves in closer and closer with every movement of the mouse, right down to microscopic level of detail. At this point the user discovers, interwoven into the material, the words 'pride', 'quality', 'confidence' - everything that makes up a Dunhill shirt.
An Englishman in New York
As the user rollovers over, we expand to see a man strolling down a New York street. As the user engages with the scroll bar, the camera arcs smoothly around our well tailored gent - the background merges seamlessly from New York to London, buildings and cars change, combined with a fluttering of leaves, autumnal sky, low sun and subtle lens flare to aid the segue.
