Social media meets Nordic tourism

The brief - create a social media campaign that will help raise awareness of Norway as an alternative tourist destination, and help dispel myths that it's all mountains and fresh air...

How did we do it?
We created a competition that invited 5 of Europe's most creative people to come on a journey, an adventure if you will, across Norway for 10 days...

Using regional bloggers, tweeters and a nifty creative trailer from Minds Eye, we invited user to submit videos, pictures, poems, songs and illustrations to tell us what they thought Norway meant to them.

With submissions... submitted, we asked the public to vote for their favourites, the winners of which got packed into a van and sent off to Norway for the 10 days.

Armed with laptops, cameras, webcams and a pencil between them all, the plucky adventurers documented their endeavors everyday, finding the country's hidden gems, going on journeys set by real locals - Their spoils plotted online for all the world to see.

So how did it go?
Let's just say, they're planning another trip this for summer...
