Reebok Valde - More Shot Power
What's happening here then?
The challenge was to depict the new Reebok Valde football boot and it's claim that they're scientifically proven to increase your shot power - A bold claim you may think and we didn't even have monsieur Henry to back up the claim...
What we did - Think The Million Dollar Man, meets the Incredible Hulk (in size 6 boots)...
On entering the site, the user walks straight into our Reebok lab where the genetically enhanced super boot unleashes an intense electrical storm, destroying the walls and surroundings.
After the dust settles, the user can explore the boot further with an indepth view of it's 'genetic' make up and features.
As you can imagine, we couldn't get the insurance to conduct a small nuclear explostion, so we used a combintation of After Effects, 2D assets and animations (3D was meerly a glimmer in my eye then) to create the campaign.
We also pitched in a few game ideas that allowed you unleash the destructive power of the boot on an unsuspecting wall of defenders and an alternative, slightly more humane approach where you could destroy the stadium of your rival football team...
